Outlook XP/2003 E-mail Configuration

This document assumes you are connecting to the Internet via mc.net. Some third party providers require you to use their SMTP server to send e-mail. Click here for a list of third party SMTP servers.

1. Open Outlook XP/2003 .

2. From the Tools menu, choose E-mail Accounts.

3. Select the Add a new e-mail account button. Click Next.

4. Select the POP3 button. Click Next.

5. Enter the appropriate information.

Your Name: First and Last Name
E-mail Address: Your e-mail address
Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) mail server: mail.mc.net
User Name: The first part of your mc.net e-mail address: (username)
Password: Your e-mail password

6. Click the Next button.
7. Click the Finish button.

8. Close Outlook and Reopen it.
